SNAP UPDATE: SNAP funding is set to end Nov. 1st due to the federal government shut down. This means that this Saturday is the last market customers can run their cards for SNAP tokens. Customers can still earn Double Up OK (DUO) tokens, matching their benefits up to $20 this Saturday. While cards will not work after the 1st, the SNAP & DUO tokens will!
Beginning next week, Nov. 1st, TFM will be supplementing the loss of SNAP thanks to private donors and community support! SNAP card holders can stop by our token booth on Saturdays, show their cards, and receive $20 in community tokens to be used at our market. As of now, we have to cap recipients at 70 per market unless more funds are received.
You can help! Pay it forward & bridge the gap- Donate today to the supplement fund so there will be less of food lapse for SNAP users. SNAP benefits not only help our food insecure community, they are also relied upon income for farmers. Help us continue to get our local naturally grown food to those who need it the most!
On top of the seed money we recieved to kick off this program, any additional donations made will be matched up to $4k! Please donate by Nov. 15th to release these additional funds for our customers! The weekly ordering window is open Friday through end of day Monday. Pick ups are from 4-7 pm on Wednesdays from our new TFM Offices located one block west of the market at 2308 E Admiral BLVD.
