Weekly, Year-Round Saturday Markets
The cornerstone of Tulsa Farmers’ Market, the Saturday Market operates year-round in the Kendall Whittier District, providing a consistent, reliable marketplace for local farmers, ranchers, food producers, and artisans. Seasonal hours shift to reflect peak growing cycles, but the mission remains constant: to connect Tulsans with fresh, locally produced food while strengthening the regional food economy. Through direct-to-consumer sales, the market ensures farmers receive fair value for their products while customers gain access to high-quality, nutrient-dense foods grown close to home.
Seasonal Wednesday Market
Operating May through August, the midweek Wednesday Market expands access to fresh food during peak growing season. Designed for convenience and accessibility, this market offers a more relaxed shopping experience while maintaining a strong focus on seasonal produce, health, and community engagement. In addition to farm-fresh goods, the Wednesday Market features wellness programming, educational opportunities, and family-friendly activities, helping customers integrate local food into their weekly routines.
Tulsa Farmers’Market To-Go
TFM To-Go is an online farmers market platform that increases access to local food by allowing customers to shop from multiple vendors in one convenient place. Customers can browse and purchase fresh produce, meats, eggs, and pantry items online and pick up their orders weekly. Designed to remove barriers such as time constraints and transportation challenges, TFM To-Go extends the reach of the market beyond traditional hours while maintaining a direct connection between producers and consumers. The program also accepts SNAP benefits and participates in Double Up Oklahoma, making healthy, local food more accessible to all.
Local Food Rescue Program
In partnership with regional organizations such as the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, the Local Food Rescue Program redirects surplus food from farmers and vendors to community members in need. This program reduces food waste while increasing access to fresh, nutritious food for food-insecure populations. By capturing excess at the market and redistributing it efficiently, TFM supports both environmental sustainability and community health while creating income for farmers.
TFM Transit Initiative
The TFM Transit Initiative reduces transportation barriers by connecting underserved communities to the farmers market and fresh food resources. Through strategic partnerships and transportation support, this program ensures that more Tulsans, especially those in food-insecure areas, can access affordable, nutritious, locally grown food. By improving physical access and providing a market stipend of $10 per participant, the initiative strengthens equity within the local food system.
TFM Farmer Relief Program
The Farmer Relief Program provides critical support to local producers facing unexpected challenges such as extreme weather, crop loss, or financial hardship. By offering emergency assistance and stabilizing resources, the program helps ensure that farmers can continue operating and participating in the market. This investment in producer resilience strengthens the long-term viability of Tulsa’s local food system.
TFM Nutrition Education Program
This program is designed to empower both adults and children with the knowledge and skills needed to eat well using seasonal, local ingredients. Through cooking demonstrations, food preservation workshops, tastings, and educational content, participants learn how to select, prepare, and enjoy fresh foods from the market. Rooted in seasonal eating, the program emphasizes nutrition, accessibility, and cultural relevance, helping individuals and families build confidence in the kitchen while improving overall health outcomes.
TFM Kids Club
TFM Kids Club introduces children to the value of local food through hands-on, engaging experiences at the market. Through interactive activities, tastings, and educational programming, children learn about fruits and vegetables, where food comes from, and how to make healthy choices. The program fosters early connections to farmers, encourages lifelong healthy eating habits, and helps families feel welcome and included in the local food system.
TFM Chef Collective
The TFM Chef Collective unites local chefs and culinary professionals to celebrate and elevate seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. By fostering meaningful connections between chefs and farmers, the program strengthens the local food economy—supporting Oklahoma producers while inspiring chefs to prioritize fresher, higher-quality ingredients that enhance both flavor and community impact.
SNAP GAP
SNAP GAP is a community-driven safety net designed to supplement federal nutrition benefits and ensure continued access to fresh, local food. Through donor-funded matching incentive initiatives, SNAP GAP helps bridge affordability gaps for low-income shoppers, especially during times of benefit reductions or economic hardship. By expanding purchasing power at the market, the program supports both food access and local farmers.
