How TFM To-Go Works

  1. Set up your profile. We up your vendor profile with your product listings, photos, inventory, and pricing on the online ordering platform we’re using for this - Local Food Marketplace. (You can manage your profile and listings yourself, if you prefer).

  2. Price your products. The platform adds a 25% fee (markup) on top of your price, so keep in mind the price your customer will see is 25% more than the price you set. For example, if you want your product to sell at $13 retail, you need to list it at $10.40 on the platform.

    • The pricing on products cannot be changed in the middle of an active ordering window, you’ll need to wait until the next week to adjust pricing.

  3. Customers place their orders. Online ordering for customers starts every Friday morning and ends on Monday night at 11:59pm.

    • The weekly quantity available per item is preset by you to the same amount every week (Or, if you are managing your own profile, you have the option to update it manually before each Friday order window opens).

  4. Pack your orders. On Tuesday morning, you receive a report of what was ordered through the portal that you can use as your pick list.

  5. Make your delivery. Deliver to us on Tuesday night 5pm-8pm or Wednesday morning 10am-1pm. The customer picks up their orders from us Wednesday night.

  6. Receive payment. Payment: You receive your payment for the week at the same time and method as you receive your weekly token payouts.

Things to note! The Tulsa Farmers’ Market is not a reseller (part of our mission is to remove the middle man and to connect producers directly with customers). Instead, we facilitate that connection. This means that we do not hold inventory and you maintain and manage your inventory until it makes it into your customers’ hands. As such, spoilage and damage is the responsibility of the vendors, not Tulsa Farmers’ Market.

What is TFM To-Go?

TFM To-Go is an online ordering option that allows customers to support local even if they can’t make it to the market!

They place an order online early in the week and pick up their weekly groceries on Wednesday evenings in Kendall Whittier.

Think of it as a seasonal CSA they can purchase weekly, without a subscription!

What’s in it for you?

You get additional revenue opportunities, which you don’t have to physically staff, and that don’t get sidelined by the weather!

Why we’re doing this

Making it more convenient for people to shop local furthers our mission to revolutionize the way Tulsa eats, and creates resilience for our producers, our community, and our local economy.

We’re excited to offer this opportunity to better support our producers and better increase access to local food and goods to our community!
