Anna Katherine Harris is A.K.’s Bloomers and she has been at the market since we began in 1998. Anna Katherine introduced a number of varieties, colors and shapes of vegetables to the market, like the Black Cherry Tomato, which is now a staple with many vendors.
A.K. Bloomers introduced the concept of above ground growing with ‘small pots.’ which ties into the lifestyle of many young professionals, young married couples, busy or older retired folks who desire to be self-sustainable or who feel more comfortable being the “lazy gardener.”
